Institution, Faculty, Mentor and Recruiter Sharing Notice

Scoped role-based access for faculty, mentors, and departmental queues without automatic CV leaks.

Legal Review & Compliance Status Notice

This policy draft is tailored to AI Tathastu's verified architecture and engineering practices. Under India's phased legal framework (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and DPDP Rules, 2025), substantive obligations commence in scheduled tranches.

Any item labelled with an [Awaiting Verification] tag designates operational data (such as formal legal entity name, designated grievance officer contacts, or vendor contractual tiers) reserved for verified business confirmation. This platform makes no unverified certification claims.

Overview#

AI Tathastu may support learner, faculty and departmental roles, verification workflows, scoped reports and opportunities. These features require access controls aligned with actual institutional roles, not an assumption that any faculty member can see every student or CV. This notice applies only if the feature is deployed and authorized for your institution or account.

Before enabling a sharing feature, explain: (1) recipient institution/organization or category; (2) exact fields shared; (3) purpose (e.g. academic verification, mentoring or opted-in opportunities); (4) how access is restricted; (5) whether verification/eligibility decisions are affected; (6) visibility duration and revocation where possible. A discovered public profile is not an opt-in to recruiter distribution.

Where a university supplies student data or directs processing, the operator's role (data fiduciary/processor or other) and written institutional terms must be assessed separately. Avoid merging independently operated product databases without appropriate agreements, permissions and controls. Institutional evidence requests should be auditable, scoped and reviewable.
