Profile Claims, Skills Evidence and Verification Policy

Distinguishing detected hints, student-confirmed claims, and independently verified evidence.

Legal Review & Compliance Status Notice

This policy draft is tailored to AI Tathastu's verified architecture and engineering practices. Under India's phased legal framework (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and DPDP Rules, 2025), substantive obligations commence in scheduled tranches.

Any item labelled with an [Awaiting Verification] tag designates operational data (such as formal legal entity name, designated grievance officer contacts, or vendor contractual tiers) reserved for verified business confirmation. This platform makes no unverified certification claims.

What counts as evidence?#

An uploaded resume, repository, project demo, certificate, academic record or publication may be submitted as evidence. Its existence alone does not establish competence, ownership, authorship, employment, school result or a completed certification. Evidence review must consider provenance, timestamps, relevance, duplicates and legitimate corrections. Reviewers should not verify their own claims where role controls prohibit that action.

AI assistance#

AI may suggest skill categories, text summaries, source relationships or learning modules, but must not silently mark a claim independently verified. A proposed skill proficiency level is not an assessment result. Scores or readiness labels must be explainable, policy versioned and based on real evidence rather than fabricated measurements.

Students' controls#

Students should be able to see the claim, its cited source, who/what proposed it, the review state and the process to correct, reject or appeal it. Institution/organization access is scope-limited. No guarantee of admission, grades, job placement or professional certification is made.

Complaints#
